Practice Profiles
A searchable member directory
Find other clinic owners by profession and region. Someone to refer a patient to, cover for leave, or compare notes with an owner who is a few steps ahead of you.
We put in the groundwork so you can do what you love.
Running a great practice is a skill we build together.
Solum Link is a small, members-only network and forum for allied health practice owners. A place to share what's working on the business side, ask the awkward questions, and learn from people who get it.
For physios, podiatrists, osteos, chiros, OTs, dietitians and other allied health owners.
Most of us opened a clinic to look after patients, not to spend our evenings on ACC paperwork, rosters and lease renewals. The business side was never part of our training, so it's no wonder it can feel like a lot.
That's why I'm building Solum Link, a warm, practical space where allied health practice owners share what's working, swap ideas and templates, and back each other, without the cost or pressure of a business coach.
Become a founding member →We spend years learning to look after patients. Then we open a clinic and find ourselves working out ACC contracts, employment agreements, pricing and software on our own, usually late at night.
Most of us are solving the same problems separately. Solum Link brings practice owners together so we can solve them once, share what we've learnt, and spend more of our time doing the clinical work we love.
Solum Link is a business platform and discussion forum for practitioners running small practices. It's the place for the gritty questions you've always had but never felt you could ask, answered by owners who have been there.
At its heart, Solum Link is about experienced practitioners sharing their advice to help new practitioners, and anyone else, along a path they have already walked.
Your professional body looks after your registration. Solum Link looks after your business.
Solum Link is an allied health forum and network, founded by Louise Aubrey, that helps allied health clinics build their business skills and put practical AI tools in place to save time on admin, so they can spend more time doing what they love.
A lot of the pressure in a clinic isn't actually clinical, the business side is so often what causes the stress.
I've spent years in clinical practice, juggling admin, working long hours late into the night and being told there's no other way. What I've found is that help is out there, AI tools and what other owners have already worked out, it just needs to be shared. That's why I started Solum Link, to help other allied health clinics reduce their admin and find a better way to run their business.
The goal is simple, the more we share, the less stress there is, and the more time we have for doing what we love.

I opened my own clinic because I believe excellence should be the standard. I love the time with patients, it's the admin and business decisions that have always pulled me away from them.
Over the years I've realised so many of us are working through the same things on our own. I would love Solum Link to be the group I wish I'd had when I started.

Every clinic is different, so I've tried to answer the things owners usually ask me first. If yours isn't here, pop it in the signup form below and I'll get back to you.
Absolutely. Many of us are the clinician, receptionist, bookkeeper and manager all at once, which is exactly why having other owners to ask makes such a difference. You'll find solo owners alongside those running teams, and both have plenty to learn from each other.
The everyday business side of running a clinic, things like ACC contracts and audits, setting and reviewing your fees, hiring your first associate or receptionist, choosing practice software, lease renewals, and building referrals with local GPs. When you register I ask about your biggest challenge, so we can focus on what owners need most.
No, Solum Link is all about the business side of running a practice. For clinical questions your clinical peers and CPD are the best place to turn, and your professional body provides legal processes, standards and support. Solum Link sits alongside them and helps with everything else that comes with owning a clinic.
As much or as little as suits you. The Case Room and Field Notes are there whenever you have a spare ten minutes, and founding member catchups are online so there's no travel. The whole idea is to save you time by not having to work everything out on your own.
Membership options are still being finalised with the founding group, so founding members get a real say in what feels fair and useful. Registering your interest is free with no commitment, and you'll hear about pricing well before you decide anything.
Yes. Everything in the Case Room and Field Notes is members-only and hidden from Google, and every member is approved by me. In conversations you'll appear as just your first name, last initial and profession, like "Sarah P., Podiatry", with no town or clinic name, so owners in the same area can talk openly. For really sensitive questions you can send them to me privately and I'll post them as "A member asks". Every member also agrees to simple ground rules: what's shared stays private, no poaching staff or patients, and never sharing anything that could identify a patient.
That's a fair question. Most owners find there's far more to gain from comparing notes than there is to lose, and the conversations are about running a business well rather than about patient lists. If you'd rather keep something to yourself, you simply don't share it.
Your association looks after your profession, and a coach works with you one on one. Solum Link sits somewhere in between, a small group of owners from across allied health sharing what has actually worked in their own clinics, in a relaxed and practical way.
Just your honesty and a bit of your experience. After a quick 15 minute chat, I would love you to join our online catchups, share what's working (and what isn't) in your clinic, and help decide what we build next.
Owners and directors of physiotherapy, podiatry, osteopathy, chiropractic, occupational therapy, dietetics, speech-language therapy and other allied health practices across New Zealand. If you're not sure whether you fit, register anyway and we'll have a chat.
